Ravand Mala (formerly known as Ravand Zaid), born in Kurdistan, Iraq, is an actor recognized for his work across both Kurdish and international film and television. He began acting at a young age and has since built a diverse portfolio of roles in projects created by prominent regional and global filmmakers. He holds a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and currently serves as the Kurdish Program Manager at the Duhok International Film Festival. A native Kurdish speaker, Ravand is proficient in multiple Kurdish dialects, as well as fluent in Arabic and English.
